On Alation Cloud Service, the Logging tab lets you download audit logs from the past 15 days. Use these logs to track user activity and troubleshoot issues.
Download Audit Logs¶
To download audit logs:
Go to Admin Settings > Logging.
In the date picker, select the time period for the logs you want to download. Audit logs are available for the past 15 days.
Click Prepare to collect and package the audit logs.
Click Download to download the logs package to your machine.
Important
The downloaded audit logs are unencrypted.
Note
Only audit logs are available for download on Alation Cloud Service. To access other log types for troubleshooting, contact Alation Support.
