Overview¶
Alation Cloud Service Applies to Alation Cloud Service instances of Alation
Enhanced Connector Enhanced connectors add extended capabilities and require a separate entitlement in addition to your Alation platform license.
Available from Alation version 2025.3.3
The Amazon SageMaker Catalog Enhanced connector is available only for Alation Cloud Service deployments and New User Experience.
The connector is distributed as a .zip package for upload and installation in the Alation application. To obtain the connector, contact the Forward Deployed Engineering team or your Alation Account Manager.
This connector is used to catalog SageMaker Catalog as a SageMaker source in Alation. The connector extracts SageMaker objects such as Domains, Projects, Asset Types, and Asset Fields. Users will be able to search and find the SageMaker Catalog objects and understand the business transformation on their data from the Alation user interface.
Team¶
You may need assistance from the following administrators to install and configure this connector in Alation:
Alation Server administrator:
Installs the connector.
Creates a SageMaker Catalog source in Alation using the connector.
Configures the connector settings in Alation.
SageMaker administrator:
Provides the access details for configuration.
Provide required permissions for the user to extract SageMaker Catalog metadata.
