Zero Data (Query Service Add-on)¶

The Zero Data feature, delivered through the Query Service Add-on on the Alation Agent, has tighter host requirements than the standard Agent. The matrix below shows the high-level constraints; for the full matrix, see Zero Data Support Matrix on the Alation Agent page.

Debian-based host (Ubuntu, Debian)	Not supported	The `zerodata` package is RPM-only.
Rootless install	Not supported	The `zerodata` package can’t be installed in rootless mode.
x86_64 / ARM	x86_64 only	ARM (aarch64) isn’t built.
Object store	AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage	Google Cloud Storage and on-prem S3-compatible stores aren’t supported yet.
