Enhanced Connector Enhanced connectors add extended capabilities and require a separate entitlement in addition to your Alation platform license.

Before installing and configuring the Dataiku OCF connector, ensure that you have network connectivity from Alation to Dataiku and that a service account is available for metadata extraction.

Configure Network Connectivity

Ensure that the Alation instance (or the Alation Agent host, if you are using an Agent-based connection) can reach the Dataiku server.

• Allow outbound TCP access from Alation to the Dataiku server on the port required by your Dataiku deployment. Port 11200 needs to be open for the connector to communicate with Dataiku.

• Ensure any required firewall or proxy rules allow the connection.

Create a Service Account

Create a service account in Dataiku for Alation. Alation uses this account to authenticate and to extract metadata from Dataiku.

Permissions for Metadata Extraction

Grant the service account the permissions listed below.
