Amazon SageMaker Catalog Enhanced Connector (Beta): Version 1.0.0

The Amazon SageMaker Catalog Enhanced Connector is now available for download. Use this connector to integrate Amazon SageMaker Catalog as a data source in Alation and understand the business transformation on their data from the Alation user interface. (AL-210048)

The connector is compatible with Alation version 2025.3.3 and higher.

Note

The connector is available only for Alation Cloud Service deployments and New User Experience.

Features

• Authentication: Supports Basic and AWS IAM role authentication

• Metadata Extraction: The connector extracts SageMaker objects such as Domains, Projects, Asset Types, and Asset Fields.

Matillion Enhanced Connector (Beta): Version 1.0.0

The Matillion Enhanced connector is now available for download. It is supported with Matillion Data Productivity Cloud (DPC). (AL-200846)

The connector is compatible with Alation version 2025.3.2 and higher.

Features

• Lineage-Only connector: The Matillion OCF connector exclusively extracts lineage information. Supports lineage between data sources powered by the Matillion Tool.

• The connector does NOT perform metadata extraction (MDE), query log ingestion (QLI), or data sampling/profiling. For table and column metadata, you must configure and catalog the actual source and destination databases separately in Alation.
